Our Story. Our Stage. Our Pride.
We bridge generations through the power of theatre, pairing LGBTQIA+ youth and elders to create original, community-driven performances that build confidence and preserve history.
Our First Production: The Laramie Project
Creative Pride’s debut performance this spring at the Palm Springs Art Museum.
The Laramie Project is a deeply moving examination of the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard. For Creative Pride, this production represents our commitment to uncovering shared histories and fostering intergenerational dialogue through the power of theatre.
As a brand-new organization, every gift helps build the production and future programs. Your contribution ensures that these vital stories continue to be told on our stage.
Our goal: $20,000 to launch our first season.
The Four Pillars
Intergenerational Storytelling
We bridge the gap between generations, allowing elders to share their history and youth to find their voice through collaborative theatre.
Confidence & Advocacy
We empower LGBTQIA+ youth with the tools to navigate the world, building resilience and self-advocacy skills for a brighter future.
Community Performance
We bring our stories to life through live performances, fostering pride and connection within our Coachella Valley community.
Empowering Scholarship
We provide access to the arts through scholarships and partnerships, ensuring that every generation has the opportunity to shine.
